Parks Forestry and Recreation believes that having people with different abilities/disabilities participating together in recreation programs enhances the quality of life for everyone.  This is achieved by encouraging the development of active healthy lifestyles through safe, accessible, diverse and high quality recreational opportunities.

Our goal is to provide individuals with disabilities the opportunity to participate in recreation programs within their community at a level of participation suitable to their ability, program choice, and facility access.
