Specialized Supports
Specialized supports are assessment or treatment services that may be required by an individual with a developmental disability at some point during their life. Some agencies also provide these services to family members. Examples include:

  • Speech & Language
  • Audiology
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Counselling
  • Behaviour Therapy

How to Access Specialized Supports

Review the listing of specialized supports by using the 'Agency programs/services' menu item and sort by agencies offering 'specialized supports'.

You can call the agency directly that offers the specialized support you are looking for.

If you are a first time caller to Developmental Services for Adults call any one of the 32 agencies (see agency listings) and call any one. (See menu item How to Access Services -> How to Apply for Services)
