Family Support - Education Liaison
Offered by Community Living Toronto

The Education Liaison provides:
• Information and consultation to families with regards to elementary or high school issues and their rights under the Education Act. Including:
• Telephone consultation and/or accompaniment to meetings
• Attend parent group meetings to answer questions
• Information to staff supporting families with education questions


The Education Liaison organizes and delivers parent and staff training workshops such as:
• Registering for Kindergarten
• IPRC (Identification Placement Review Committee)
• IEP (Individual Education Plans)
• Effective Communication
