The following are details for the selected Agency Program:

Supportive Independent Living Program (SIL)
Offered by Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf

To provide support as needed, to deaf, developmentally delayed individuals and assist them to live independently within the community.

How to ApplyApplicants must be deaf, developmentally delayed, 18 years of age and over, and be able to live independently in the community with only a few hours of support each week.

Applicants must also meet the admissions criteria of our housing partner Mainstay Housing.

Applications are available from the Bob Rumball Centre for the Deaf and are reviewed based upon a person's ability to benefit from the program and on the level of support required.

A pre-admission medical form must be completed by the individual's doctor and must accompany the application form. Psychological and Audiological Assessment results may be required before applicants can be accepted into the program.

Please note: A waiting list may be in effect.
