Centre Based Day Program
Offered by Centre for Opportunities, Respect and Empowerment (CORE)

The Centre Based Day Program is a highly individualized service that offers social, recreational and work activities. Days of attendance are flexible to suit the individual's schedule and a hot lunch and the cost public transportation to and from the centre are provided. Participants also have access to the Culinary Connections program that provides individuals with skills training to prepare for entry-level employment or volunteering in the food service and hospitality industry. The Farm Project was introduced as a tool to teach appropriate social skills, encourage physical activities and develop empathy and peer relationship through animal care and gardening.
