Description Day Supports (18+): (Monday to Friday - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) - Activities and classes include: Lifeskills, computer training, literacy, health and nutrition, fitness, ceramics, dance and movement, swimming, music therapy, gardening, communication, community access, relationships, money and budgeting, creative crafts, drama, choir, beauty salon, home economics, chair massage, aromatherapy, yoga, physiotherapy, reflexology, Reiki, sensory therapies and Snoozlen Work Experience: Employment opportunities include volunteer placements or compensated employment. Individuals are assisted and supported by Employment Specialists and day program staff members, in order to improve and expand employment skills. Residential Services: The Meta Centre provides residential care to individuals (18+) in Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough and Toronto. Supports and services are provided within group home settings (24 hrs.) and indivdual living arrangements (Supported Independent Living - 10 hrs./wk). Respite Services: The Meta Centre offers Saturday respite programs for children, youth and adults (Ages 6+). Services are offered in Toronto, Vaughan and Richmond Hill. In addition, summer camps and March break programs are offered.
