| Supportive Home Share Associate Offered by Community Living Toronto Closing Date - start date asap A 43 year adult with an intellectual disability is looking to share her home in exchange for some support. She currently lives with two cats. Her home is located in the Dufferin and Rogers Road area of Toronto and has a small, private backyard and offers free parking. Your involvement will be to provide support and companionship and to encourage personal growth, skill development and independence. The hours of support are flexible; she independently attends a day program each morning from Monday to Friday. This arrangement may allow the Associate to hold a daytime position. Some additional supports are available. Ideally you are committed to building a long-term relationship and stable home environment with this individual. In return you will receive a $35 per day fee and free shared accommodation (excluding utilities & telephone) as well as 21 days of paid vacation. The family has expressed their preference for a female companion. * The Supportive Home Share Program is a Community Living Toronto supported initiative.
